Community:Elad's Lighthouse/Tower of Knowledge
Elad's Lighthouse is a library in Elad's Lighthouse. Proprietor Jayson Albrecht founded the library the evening of Februa 19, 494 P.C..
The main floor features works from great Novian scholars, including sections dedicated to the Dirae Prophecy, the Great Bard's classic The Sorcerer's Daughter, works from the Scholars of Novia, and selections from the Poets' Circle.
The second floor is dedicated to collecting books from visiting Avatars. Book donations can be made using the donation trunk by the front door.
The third floor is the printing press, where a book vendor is available to sell copies of selected works.
The roof is accessible year-round, and features a moondial and telescope for stargazing.
Visit the Tower of Knowledge to browse our book selection, or simply sit before the hearth and enjoy a nice game of chess or checkers.
Trivia[edit]
- The library's name is an homage to the monument in the Ultima series. The sign hanging above the entrance reads "Turis - Scientia - Magnopere" in Runic, the same as that monument, which is representative of the Latin phrase "The great works of the tower of knowledge".
- The name of the Curator in the library, Enilno, is also an Ultima reference. He shares his name with the Quicksword used to slay the Enchantress
