0:17 it's going to be great and we already

0:21 a lot of stuffs happening this week a
0:24 lot of stuff happening next week as well

0:28 who is new to the game or just getting
0:30 started and saw that we had this weekly

0:36 I really appreciate it this is the
0:37 community one this is really about the
0:39 community we show a lot of stuff that by
0:41 the developers and we have Estevan
0:43 sorcerer Steve Zelda bar here today to
0:45 show you some cool stuff on Arry and
0:48 Bert Osteen's
0:49 Aryan for tots making their way to our
0:51 44 extracts Pokemon Wow cool so we got
0:54 we got like multiple scenes being
0:58 polished new seams making their way into
1:00 the game over the next couple of
1:02 releases and we do this on a regular
1:04 basis as our regulars and on the live
1:06 stream in the community know every
1:08 release we have something special for
1:10 you guys in the way of either scenes
1:11 and/or usually and new content like
1:15 weapons right like this one this one is
1:18 amazing I just picked this up literally
1:21 in the hallways we have weapons randomly
1:23 lying around in the studio it's just one
1:25 of the you know game industry scheduler
1:27 things here and actually this is a well
1:32 they may be Viking noir guard I think no
1:34 regard is like the region and white the
1:37 Viking are the people and this is a noir
1:40 guard Viking or maybe Viking or guard X
1:44 single yeah and one day I'm a dad one
1:48 hand axe and so I've been swinging in
1:50 this around and almost knocked one of
1:52 Lord British's
1:54 don't tell them I said this one of Lord
1:56 British's wall-hanging hit it pretty
1:59 hard and say that's a few minutes before
2:02 this livestream started don't worry it

2:08 so anyway we have a lot of cool content

2:11 is make its way in next week for release
2:13 44 and I just wanted to go on a little
2:16 bit of a review of the weekly update

2:28 and then we'll get into what source or
2:31 Steve s event is going to show you guys
2:34 which is hidden I will give you a little
2:37 quick sneak peek this may go horribly

2:45 you're going to see a lot of cool stuff
2:46 through unity in the game for where we
2:52 showing airy and vert eyes in just a
2:54 moment prizes as well is always an
2:56 exciting part of these community live
2:58 streams and I like to give away usually
3:02 more than I probably should but we've
3:05 got we've got a pretty good selection I
3:07 think you know a variety of some stuff
3:10 we've given away already
3:11 like the ornate post mounted mailbox
3:14 mailboxes have been a really pretty
3:16 popular item name since they went live
3:19 last release ornate wall mailbox so the
3:22 version of the post of the post it is
3:24 like literally the you go you go out of
3:26 your house you walk to the front of your
3:28 yard and it's sticking out of the ground
3:30 whereas the wall ones very convenient
3:33 lazy man's one I say you can literally
3:35 you know walk out of the door and reach
3:39 around to the wall with the pendant
3:41 where you put it of course I mean I'm
3:42 just an you know usually in houses you
3:45 have the wall mounted right by the door
3:48 so when you come home or usually yeah
3:50 it's right there yeah so there's those
3:53 we're gonna give away one of each of
3:54 those we also have the blue orange and
3:57 green glowing mushroom packs where we
3:59 give away one of each of those and some
4:03 of which I actually use in a positive
4:05 free time oh really they're going
4:07 mushrooms very cool and so we're going
4:09 to see some of them may be edgy salad
4:10 adding a excellent they were really neat
4:12 they glow during the day and night but
4:14 especially the night obviously there is
4:18 a pic option for both of these you can
4:21 select within it whatever color you
4:25 there's two types there's the potted
4:27 which would you can put it outside if
4:29 you want to but it's nice inside and the
4:32 outside only we don't call a non potty
4:35 but it's not bad it's just the normal
4:38 and so you'll probably see an some of
4:41 those when SM shows you around so give
4:44 us a I see I'm still holding this axis
4:47 very near and dear to me makes me feel
4:49 safe you don't mess with me as the bad
4:52 guy you better showing them cool stuff
4:55 here or on the Sikh community on you
4:57 okay so anyway get rid of that we've got

5:28 how a plane saw a little bit of that
5:29 last week making a granite Colossus a
5:32 little bit of that in the weekly updates

5:36 fancy screenshots from those scenes as
5:38 well five well four scenes
5:41 plus the garments just to start the
5:43 weekly update and then we also had dem
5:46 didn't free trial which is going on
5:49 right now and you the community you are
5:50 awesome for helping new players
5:54 welcoming them into the game the forms
5:57 there's of a new players that have said
5:58 hello to the community and you know had
6:01 questions like how do I get started what
6:02 do I do and we've had some very nice
6:04 community members scream that have been
6:07 with us for a long time help each other
6:09 out or help them out in that case so
6:11 thank you community for that free trial
6:14 ends on 26 so if you have anybody who
6:17 thinks they may be interested in the
6:19 game now this is the weekend to get them
6:22 in and have and check the game out or
6:24 you can wait till release 44 comes
6:27 around we also have a couple of new
6:30 partnerships you can read more about
6:32 those on in the weekly update we're
6:35 really working to you know provide as
6:37 much service
6:38 is interesting content for the community
6:40 as possible now that goes from
6:42 translating the game and other languages
6:44 support for our marketing outreach when

8:04 coming out this weekend we've got events
8:06 by the community Kali writing contest
8:08 treasure hunt the video trailer contest
8:11 is going on right now we haven't had any
8:14 entries just yet because it takes a
8:16 little while to create a trailer but
8:18 I've heard some talk about people
8:20 creating trailers and asking for things
8:22 like music them from the game so I'm
8:24 really really excited to see what you
8:26 guys come up with probably because
8:28 there's two options there's the regular
8:30 one to two minute trailer full-length
8:33 most people probably create those but
8:35 there's also the advertising 30-second
8:38 well it is I don't know why I'm doing
8:40 this because it literally is for
8:42 advertising game so it is that kind of
8:45 really short themed trailer so if you
8:47 want to create a full-length trailer
8:49 just keep it real tight
8:50 2030 seconds that includes the rapper
8:53 begin all the way to the beginning to
8:54 the end I'm going to I'm going to be
8:57 really excited to see yeah but hey right
9:00 now what those are going to look like
9:01 because we haven't done a contest for
9:02 those before we've done a full trailer
9:04 contest we've said yes you're during the
9:06 summer that was amazing how many
9:08 trailers we got and how good they work
9:10 it was unbelievable and it's pretty
9:12 great for me because I get to see like
9:14 so mine abs yeah yeah you guys allow
9:16 your dad again so you're going to see
9:18 more of that I assume in some of the
9:20 trailers we will see probably start you
9:24 know being submitted this week I would
9:25 have expect after this weekend but you
9:27 know very cool to see some talk about
9:29 that we also have new flash sale
9:32 comic-con themes
9:34 in a certain city in the United States
9:36 the I didn't say it
9:37 cosplay wearables so it's themed on
9:39 around wearables a lot of people go to
9:42 comic-con to cosplay put on you know
9:45 outfits Maritimes and I've been flipping
9:49 through Twitter of watching some of the
9:50 outfits that people have been taking
9:52 photos of really cool stuff some scary
9:54 stuff - some creepy stuff mostly funny
9:57 and cool though and I guess I can
10:00 mention this real quick
10:01 our seedinvest campaign I think you
10:03 thank you everybody who is participated
10:05 in that time is run short though we only
10:09 have a little bit time left I can't say
10:10 how much I'm not supposed to say details
10:12 like that but time is running short

10:20 journey with us to become a full-fledged
10:22 publisher not just developed right now
10:25 and full-fledged publisher basically
10:27 means that with the campaign we'll be
10:29 able to do more marketing to get the
10:31 word out about the game to more fans
10:33 more fans that are ultimate in Richard
10:36 Garriott fans maybe Derek fans I don't
10:38 know I have a base somewhere there's a
10:40 following and then there's some other
10:43 events too by the community but I could
10:45 rattle on all day about these you guys
10:47 want to see some stuff by estimate so
10:50 let's give away a prize before we do

11:35 weekly update of content ever well maybe
11:39 not ever but it is a lot of content
11:41 there's also I didn't I didn't want to
11:42 forget July's role-playing of the Avatar
11:46 RP o ta comm writing contest and he has
11:52 some of the stuff that's going on as
11:53 well too so check the weekly update or
11:55 the weekly events look at the calendar
11:58 on the website you go to the community
12:00 tab in the middle drop-down and the
12:02 calendar has a listing of what we're
12:05 doing over the next few months like soda
12:08 con which is coming up in October
12:10 October 13 to 15 so if you haven't
12:12 gotten your tickets yet it's here in
12:13 Austin
12:14 we've already gotten I think they're
12:17 sold out of the VIP other sold as a VIP
12:19 ticket already but the regular tickets
12:21 are available and what was the other
12:23 thing I was gonna mention oh yeah Mad
12:25 Hatter Mad Hatter if you're watching we
12:27 didn't get your very cool Chicago event
12:29 in the weekly update it's going to be in
12:31 probably next week's update we're saving
12:33 it for the r44 cycle Mad Hatter had Mad
12:36 Hatter's one of our community members
12:38 who has been here helping us with
12:40 telethon amazing community member in the
12:43 game who just gotten home be actually
12:46 that his work and so he's been doing a
12:48 lot of stuff with the community and has
12:50 decided in his I think it's his hometown
12:53 of Chicago Illinois here in the United
12:56 States to put on a little local lamp
12:58 party for everybody that can make it
13:01 October 6 so you've got a few months to
13:03 book the plane tickets there's
13:04 information on the website and in the
13:06 weekly update if you're in the area of
13:09 Chicago or wish to fly over there today
13:12 event X there's like a couple days as
13:13 Friday has the most of the stuff around
13:16 charlie
13:16 tired and then I think they're going
13:17 touring the town on Saturday May so the
13:21 small town you can probably walk from
13:23 one end to the other British you know
13:25 Chicago is cheap hassle you're just
13:27 they're going to see museums and all
13:28 this other stuff can be very cool yeah
13:30 so if you're in that area check it up
13:32 alright so hopefully the audio and
13:34 everything is coming through guys we're
13:36 going to check for that prize and then
13:38 we're going to hand this over to Esteban

14:37 tasked with this release was to go back
14:41 into some of the cities that are in the
14:43 truth path cities like Airy and cities
14:46 like Bertos and we basically did what we
14:50 call it truth polish past and also did a
14:53 visual aesthetics past in these towns so
14:56 just to highlight the fact that there
14:57 are on the trade path and just upgrade
15:00 visuals as well and so right now I'm
15:03 going to take you guys through some of
15:05 the improvement that we're done to the
15:06 city of Airy and unity is going there
15:13 you go oh one thing about area is we if
15:17 you guys check out the weekly update we
15:19 have ver toss in the weekly up this
15:23 week's put arey in the update however I
15:25 did link your last week's gotta go
15:30 to the bottom of the verse hospital so
15:32 if you guys read about sorceress these
15:34 birds hot update wakeful music - there
15:40 we go okay so if you guys check out the
15:42 Berta's weekly the weekly update virtus
15:45 mentioned at the bottom is a link to
15:47 sorcerer Steve's Airy post from last
15:50 week which is what we resina right yes
15:54 and so so major key areas of Airy got
15:59 revisited here we'll run through some of
16:02 them
16:03 so as I was saying earlier we really
16:08 wanted to accent eight the truth in the
16:14 city and so in Richard Garriott's world
16:18 or British a blue often is symbolic of
16:23 truth so we wanted to bring in a new
16:27 color palette and we started doing that
16:29 and so that's one of the reasons why
16:31 you'll see a lot more blue now in the
16:33 city so take this for example this is a
16:36 one of the main squares here in Harry
16:39 and so we wanted to bring in blue
16:44 because it's concept is truth but
16:47 alongside that area has so many
16:49 different areas and so we thought you
16:52 know what have we had each area of the
16:54 city be its own color palette so here
16:57 for example it's blue and yellow and so
17:01 you know we took that step further into
17:03 the NPC buildings you know where these
17:08 are tinted yellow now buildings that are
17:10 tinted blue
17:12 we got a pennant hanging about oh we
17:17 also got a new magic shopping area who
17:20 and yeah it's got a Oh going on
17:26 scissor bless Oh
17:30 this is the elephant one of the element
17:35 elven towers something in the widgets
17:37 tower okay and what happens if you step
17:42 through the portal this takes a it takes
17:44 you up to the second floor play boom
17:48 third and a and this is housing area or
17:51 the for the magic shop merchants so this
17:57 is witty worry bunker Stan notes some
18:02 stuff in there too very flowery yes yeah
18:07 so we definitely did a lot more addition
18:10 of color to the city overall yeah I
18:14 definitely see the blue theme it's been
18:16 a real pleasure to be sharing these
18:19 screenshots last week's we led the the
18:24 social posts or I think it was some of
18:28 these blue team screenshots berry all
18:31 right
18:33 and so as we kind of make our way down
18:36 this path and we keep on seeing some
18:39 more of the blue and yellow architecture
18:41 now the blue and yellow is kind of
18:42 restricted to the central area very and
18:45 then as we start making our way north
18:46 we'll start seeing at some of the
18:47 buildings be change they become blood
18:49 red in research ethics means that's just
18:52 not there's no no blood or there's a
18:54 pink bed there's a pink buildings we got
18:58 a comment ha romancer looks very vibrant
19:01 yes and a couple of others blue and gold
19:06 Navy colors yeah we'll see something so
19:09 like when I was trying to color palette
19:12 and I was largely inspired by like
19:14 southern France even if you look at
19:16 turned villages around the southern
19:18 French region you did see like they will
19:20 use a lot of like yellows and blues and
19:22 pinks in there in their architecture so
19:27 here we're coming up on the more
19:28 affluent district the very as you can
19:32 see there's a new cast of the background
19:35 you know I just bought that last week or
19:37 next so interesting story about area so
19:41 I actually built Airy
19:43 and it was kind of a walk down memory
19:45 lane because I actually build Airy in
19:47 November of 2015
19:49 oh wow it's been a while and so when it
19:54 you know couple weeks ago when we
19:56 started talking about doing a polish
19:58 path and coming back to the map and kind
20:00 of revamping it a bit one of the things
20:02 that I really wanted to do was to
20:03 redesign the castle because back then we
20:06 couldn't really designed castles to the
20:09 extent that we can now or we didn't have
20:11 a modular kit so it kind of like
20:13 subdivide very well but now we've got
20:18 new castle kits and so I really wanted
20:22 to redo the castle because it's been
20:25 honestly like you was blocked off like
20:26 if you went into Airy like a month ago
20:28 even you couldn't even go into the
20:30 castle it was really what you'll do then
20:32 oh yeah you really yeah so we got some
20:34 people are loving the blue theme and
20:36 they're actually asking I want those
20:37 flowers jouvert says can I have those
20:40 flowers for my house so I don't think we
20:42 have some of the blue flowers or even
20:45 the flags for that matter yet available
20:48 to players but we've done that well
20:51 there are there are some new flowers
20:53 available
20:53 they're not exactly these flowers women
20:58 maybe now they're not exactly those
21:02 flowers but they're very similar though
21:04 and they come in a potted form there
21:08 might be some in the castle actually but
21:10 there are some blue flowers though as
21:12 well was that as Mellie didn't literally
21:14 came out of nowhere they were hiding in
21:16 the bushes
21:17 it hid what the heck were they doing it
21:22 but we do have some potted flowers day
21:25 okay yeah well we have always you know
21:27 taking a look at players feedback will
21:30 note that down thank you for the
21:32 suggestion and it's always possible that
21:34 anything that is static in the game that
21:36 you see walking around could make its
21:39 way into a player on town or a player on
21:42 home at some point right yeah yeah so
21:47 you do see a lot of you knows
21:48 decorations like this right here that's
21:52 the kind of trees obviously cutest
21:54 cities in the truth path here
21:57 this district also switched out
22:01 materials on the NPC buildings so yeah
22:03 at first glance this may look like your
22:05 typical NPC building but you know we did
22:08 swap out different tone different
22:10 materials and it's wood planks now so
22:14 yeah changing it up a bit the color
22:18 palette for this part of town is blue
22:19 and red the horse statue denotes the
22:25 fact that there's a like a little
22:28 adjusting area that way it's just
22:31 outside the castle grounds castles over
22:33 there aren't castles over there so just
22:36 below the castle or kind of some little
22:39 Jostein areas just I know perfect areas
22:44 for player events that's one thing I
22:46 thought my list when I actually do buy a
22:49 castle in real life as a jousting area
22:51 and everybody needs one of those you
22:54 know if I stand corrected a epic Dan a
22:57 damn Brandon she set up this quarries to
22:59 where he kind of goes up and down a bit
23:01 it's just like this is what I do all day
23:03 long
23:03 here I go trotting around follow me if

31:29 overlooking the ocean so that's pretty
31:32 why this canonical we've got Don - Drock
31:35 who suggests for the elevator airy Vader
31:37 that's cool monkey smack says wonkavator

32:34 once again add the Blues add a lot more

32:51 visiting you in the castle passing
32:53 through town buying local wares by by
32:57 your your people and that you know the
33:01 whole flow of the the scene from here to
33:04 the castle and back is amazing amazing
33:07 work oh yeah you can tell you see the
33:08 castle coming it is actually what am i
33:10 this is actually one of my favorite
33:12 these are the cities when you like come
33:15 through the port side and then look up
33:16 and you can see the castle and that's
33:19 actually a really nice marker too
33:21 because some of the themes that we have
33:22 Brittany and others are so huge that it
33:25 can be difficult to get in and out of
33:27 them like where am i it's like a casino
33:28 I don't know where anything is right
33:30 yeah as well just sit down here and
33:32 spend way you know it's all right you
33:35 can spend all day in some of these
33:36 scenes and the flow that's one I really
33:39 like personally if you're just tuning in

34:05 landmarks in the city is big this and
34:09 you know we also thought of that you
34:11 know area is not very far away from the
34:15 town of Zeena's and we also wanted to
34:18 bring in you know some of that zena's
34:21 inspired architecture that Scott Jones
34:23 did Scott Jones with you already to
34:25 worked on the city of xenos yeah that
34:28 was another American scene Scottie by
34:30 the way has put in a article update of
34:33 what he's been working on the weekly
34:34 update - yes and so you know part of the
34:39 reason we wanted to bring in bring in a
34:40 little bit of xenos influence it's just
34:42 because you know in real life you got
34:43 places like Chinatown
34:45 they go down to LA or New York and all
34:48 these big cities have a little bit of
34:50 influence coming from the different
34:52 cultures that live in that city and so
34:54 we thought you know what
34:55 the middle zenus just like so so that's
34:59 that's what this is right here so this
35:01 is like little Z nodes in Airy so we
35:06 brought some views of the greco-roman
35:08 architecture so you can see some of the
35:10 pillars in the background so bringing in
35:13 some of the greco-roman stuff that makes
35:16 Dino's Dino's you know some of the
35:19 statues oh no very nice yeah it's
35:23 beautiful
35:24 you got like yeah there we go
35:29 and then if to distinguish this area
35:32 once again we kept the blue within
35:34 brought in pink and blue so that's the
35:36 color palette for these colors coming
35:38 love an oculus liquids coming right at
35:40 me you know he's like he's like tastings
35:42 let's just going like okay all right
35:44 you're cool your player your vibe so I
35:45 mentioned in the beginning of the
35:47 livestream that we have a another
35:48 trailer contest community-created
35:50 trailer contest and well community
35:54 trailers created community trailers

36:02 it's going on right now it's going to be
36:04 going on for a few weeks that we've
36:05 given the community about a month and a
36:07 half to create a really cool trailer get
36:10 the resources they need team up with

36:14 producing it and need more scene
36:17 additions

42:47 banners and these banners in particular
42:49 have classroom so they wave with the
42:51 plan and kind of flap you know added
42:56 more elven symbols upon the stage and
43:03 just overall did a lot of trim work you
43:06 know integrating the color green as much
43:08 as we could you do see other symbols for
43:12 truth like you know a bear on the city
43:16 gates
43:24 very nice good doctor even NPCs and all
43:29 that are it looks like there's several
43:30 they're all added in are you still
43:33 working on no so actually Keith did the
43:35 NPC adjustment so but yeah he basically
43:41 I think that I think most of the NPC's
43:43 are the same at before okay yeah we
43:46 didn't really like go about adding much
43:48 in terms of NPCs because once again this
43:52 shops so what that you know that's a
43:55 great point Bert because when we say
43:57 visual adjustments to scenes that are
43:59 already existing we didn't want to like
44:01 totally you know do away with the layout
44:05 of the city because you know people
44:07 become used to certain layouts people
44:10 become used to where certain things are
44:12 merchants are so we try not to move that
44:15 but yeah it was mostly just visuals
44:17 aesthetics you know adding more color
44:19 adding more symbols stuff like that so I
44:24 guess the biggest change we probably did
44:26 was the addition of this structure right
44:28 here which is in the center of town
44:31 so this is a this is an elven village
44:34 sized home and that is the size comb
44:36 that someone can get give them yeah you
44:38 can own this a game
44:42 and so this home now houses house it's a
44:47 mushroom
44:48 Wow mushroom facility downstairs like
44:51 what is going on there but upstairs I
44:54 just see more mushrooms upstairs a you
44:58 can see come inside library here and
45:02 once again just emphasizing books on how
45:05 to harvest mushrooms this area that I
45:10 think would be a bad idea you should put
45:12 a book in there that just for kicks and
45:15 we actually do have a book on missions
45:17 that is yeah so yeah you know wherever
45:23 we can add a library just to emphasize
45:25 the concept of truth and knowledge we
45:27 try to do that that's yeah that's really
45:31 cool yeah all right so let's go ahead
