Dastard is one of eight moonlike orbital bodies that revolve around the planet New Britannia. These objects can be seen in the sky. This moon relates to a specific Obsidian Cabalist.
- Note: In the sky the rings of this orbital body are sometimes shown or not, depending on the objects rotational position. This will however always show as a red orbital body in the sky.
This red orbital body completes a full orbit every 13 days.[1]

Dastard is named after one of the eight Anti-Virtues.
Town Sieges[edit]
- When this object is within a specific constellation, the Obsidian Cabalist Nefario will lead a town siege in any Patron City that has a Devotional related to the constellation.

- These objects can be tracked with a Moondial, to determine their current position and which constellation they may be currently residing in.
- Equipping an Astrolabe at night will allow you to see the constellations in the sky, and if any of these orbiting bodies are currently in a specific constellation.

- Astronomy & Calendar: The sky above is now filled with a full system of celestial mechanics, including 10 orbital bodies and a constellation-filled star field. All of these move independently and will generate phases, eclipses and multiple alignment events. These are all tied to a calendar that has a direct ratio to actual Earth time[2]
