Development[edit]

The Gladiator Wars event was originally inspired by blaquerogue on the SotA Forums.[1]

blaquerogue is a fan of MMA and WWF/WWE/SmackDown, and has Tourneys before with SCA (www.sca.org), and competed in martial arts competitions through out his life, and have run martial arts competitions within his Dojo, so he came up with this idea from those shows/events. The difference will be fights will not be set up like in (WWE/WWF/SMackDOwn), to who wins and who doesn't. It's not going to be an event like that. The winner will win because of their skills and prowess in the arena. Blaquerogue will participate in other arena matches but never his own.
