Dear Quincy, my love...
I hope you are able to take leave off your duties soon. How many people do they need watching that silly bridge, anyway? Nothing ever happens there.
I am studying in Soltown this month while waiting for Uncle Oren's caravan from Graff Island. Do come see me, won't you? It's not that far and surely they can understand if you take a day or three off from the watch.
I miss you horribly, and hope you come back to me soon.
