Quentin's Final Report
I cannot walk and I am bleeding out. After losing a bloody scuffle, I managed to drag myself behind a rock to scrawl this report, which I fear is my last.
Captain, the bandits own the swamps, from road to shore. I earnestly tried to clear a safe passage for refugees traveling to Soltown, but I shall never know the results.
Dearest Rhoswen, we often jest about our future but know that I truly care for you. I regret that we shall never meet for that dance in the Soltown pub. I expect that you'll don a brave face once you learn I am gone, but please, dearest Rhoswen, not so brave that it keeps you from finding another dance partner.
