Nibbled Bone is a quest item that can only be found once you have the Search for Missing Bone quest. You can only carry one of these items with you at a time.

The Nibbled Bone can be found in dirt piles within Tanglemire.

The nibbled bone is within one of the grey colored dirt piles in Tanglemire (shown below).

You must use the mining mechanic to dig up the piles. Most piles will contain red worms, but one will contain a Nibbled Bone.

Most of the dirt piles are on dry land, but a few are in the shallow water. The dirt piles are located at the red dots on the map below (some show up on the in-game map as a faint grey spot).
