I met Captain Burnes in the monastery. The Highvale Outskirts leader seemed appreciative of my offer to help, and asked me to offer my help to Leftenant Simone at the bottom of the spiral stairwell. Evidently, she needs help gathering supplies for their refugees. From what I gathered, this would free up some of Captain Burnes' time to concentrate on the threat of the nearby elves.
