By Order of Lord British we hereby recognize Dame Lori as the first official recipient of the Order of New Britannia Empire award! This award bears the New Britannia Coat of Arms and is given during a proclamation to address the outstanding contributions of exceptional members of our society.

The three colors of the ribbon represent the three Principles of New Britannian Ethos; blue represents Truth; yellow represents Love, and red represents Courage.

Awardees are given an in-game ONBE Medal and the title of "Knight of New Britannia", as well as a physical medallion.

  1. Dame Lori, January 23rd, 2014; for her work with the Runic Font that is used through the entire land of New Britannia and her contributions on her website forsakenvirtues.com.[1][2]
  2. Joe Garrity, January 23rd, 2014; for his work with the Origin Museum and unification of historical artifacts for the community.[1]
  3. Sir Frank, January 23rd, 2014; for his work with the College of Arms, making the first Shroud of the Avatar challenge coins, polo shirts, and other items.[1][2]
  4. The Space Bards (Dominic John & Dan Span), January 23rd, 2014; for their creation of original music and their contributions to the community.[1] (presented at the Festival of the Silver Serpent[3])
  5. Ember Isolte, March 26, 2014; for her work with the creation of original music for Shroud of the Avatar and her contributions to the community.[4]
  6. Holt Ironfell, March 26, 2014; for his work and leadership in the Poets' Circle and for directing the creation of original music for Shroud of the Avatar.[4]
  7. The Mad Hermit, March 26, 2014; for his work on creating videos on behalf of the backers to spread information and inspire the community. Presented in person by Lord British on April 4th 2015.[4]
  8. Adiun Tesserande, March 26, 2014; for his work and leadership in the College of Arms.[4]
  9. Amber Raine, May 13, 2014; for her work and guidance with Avatars Radio and the Church of the Dark Star[5][6]
  10. Nirantae, May 28, 2014; for her work and leadership in the College of Arms and her contributions to the community.
  11. Duke Violation, June 10, 2014; for his community work on Avatars Portal and the SotAwiki.[7]
  12. Winfield, July 5, 2014; for his leadership, player town ideas, and contributions to the community.[8][9]
  13. Withstand the Fury Dragon, September 4, 2014; for his community work on The Ultima Codex and throughout the Shroud of the Avatar community.[9]
  14. Jarrod Kailef, September 4, 2014; for his musical contributions and leadership with the Poets' Circle. Presented in person by Lord British on April 3rd 2015.[9]
  15. Joseph Toschlog, November 16, 2014; for his outstanding service to the community through the Hearth of Britannia. Presented in person by Lord British during the HoBLotH II closing ceremony.
  16. Fenyx4, December 1, 2014, for his contributions to New Britannia via programming and preservation of data.
  17. Melchior Meijer, December 1, 2014, for his contributions to the game Sound Effects and assets.
  18. Stile Teckle, December 1, 2014, for his work with the caverns.
  19. Riya, for her work with New Britannia's Builders of Bemusing Bewilderments and building mazes and events for the SotA community.
  20. Sean, May 14, 2015, for his leadership of The Syndicate and their work in the community.
  21. Matterio, May 14, 2015, for his work in developing the SotA Community App.
  22. Unseen Dragon, June 13, 2015 at the Festival of the Silver Serpent, for his Lego replicas of Hearth of Britannia, FireLotus Tavern, Knights Keep, and several characters, and his work on the SotA Travel Guide (presented at the Festival of the Silver Serpent[3])
  23. Steven Goldman, June 13, 2015, for his music work with the Space Bards and in the community (presented at the Festival of the Silver Serpent[3])
  24. WrathPhoenix, July 9, 2015, Founder of Phoenix Republic, Governor of Port Phoenix, founder and Dean of the Novian Academy, for orchestrating and coordinating dozens of SotA Twitch Stream Teams, and orchestrating SotA’s involvement with Water.org Campaign
  25. Rild, July 9, 2015, for establishing the SotA merchandising site, Relics by Rild, designing and manufacturing all that wonderful SotA SWAG (presented at the Festival of the Silver Serpent[3])
  26. Themo Lock, July 9, 2015, for organization/involvement in-game events, designer/builder of theatrical areas, and regular contributor to the Player/Dev Combat Scrum

  29. Lazarus Long, October 17, 2015, founder of the New Britannia News Network (NBNN), for his development and operation of the NBNN (honor bestowed by Richard Garriott at the BMC Convention in Austin, Texas, and presented on-air on January 11, 2016.)[10]
  30. Eniko, January 11, 2016, for her contributions for the community, and her music system which allows instruments to be played in-game[10].

Trivia

  • Originally, the medallion was silver, but it was revealed during the first New Britannian State of the Realm that it had been changed to gold with a colored sigil.
  • Duke Violation was the first player to receive the physical medallion and it was awarded to him in person at E3 2014 by Lord British and Darkstarr.
  • Sir Frank and Themo Lock each received the ONBE twice.
