Purpose[edit]
This template may be used to summarize information about a particular NPC. This template is placed at the top of an article.

Explanation

| image (optional)
|
The name of the image file (if there is any) together with its extension.
|
| imagebackgroundcolor (optional)
|
background color for the image. Useful for dealing with transparencies.
|
| caption (optional)
|
Caption for image, if necessary.
|
| location
|
The location (town, village, city or directions) of the NPC.
|
| marker
|
Text description of the nearest compass marker next to the NPC.
|
| type (optional)
|
The NPC type, such as "Vendor" or "Skills Trainer". -->
|
| specialty (optional)
|
The NPC's Merchant Types specialty within their type, such as "Alchemist" or "Brewing Supplies Merchant" etc.
|
| title
|
The title (Commander etc.) of the NPC.
|
| family
|
The name for the family that the NPC is a member of.
|
| firstappearance
|
The patch, release or date of the first appearance of the NPC in the game.
|
| coordinates
|
This function currently does not work, delete this option.
|
| region (optional)
|
The region this NPC can be found on. Optional.
|
| continent (optional)
|
The continent this NPC can be found on; Novia, Hidden Vale or Mistrendur. Optional.

| scene
|
The scene on the continent. Not sure what this option does. Optional.
