Umbra Regnum is a Player Owned Town located northeast from Soltown in the Perennial Coast Region.
Known as the realm where light and shadow are one, Umbra Regnum is a city seemingly luminous but where darkness lurks in the most unlikely corners.
Presiding over the main entrance, the walls of Blackstone Castle keep many dark mysteries. A nest of fearsome dragons, a laboratory where horrible experiments are carried out and, in the central courtyard, a small cell with a strange blue portal inside. On the other side of this portal is an old prison where the wailing of the prisoners echoes in the dark walls that give it its name.
If you walk around Blackstone Castle you will come to Gargoyle's Rest, a neighborhood with a beautiful garden whose green hedges hide the headquarters of some strange cultists who pay homage to "Mother Stone".
Among the lushness of its vegetation, the Sanctuary Gardens area also harbors darkness. The School of Dark Arts (under construction) and the city cemetery are places to visit if you like to breathe peace and quiet. Maybe too quiet...
Even the Governor's Castle can give you some clues about the true spirit of the city. A dragon portal will lead you to Search and Destiny, a ghostly dig where hideous creatures hungry for human life await.
So, don't be fooled by the brightness that welcomes you to the city, Umbra Regnum lives up to its name and motto: the kingdom where light and shadow are one.
