Alex and her twin sister Alice formerly ran shop called Petersons Linens in Opalis. Both are lithe women, with long red hair.
Tassilo and Toschlog both came to the city on business, and arrived at the sisters' shop at the same time. In time each married one of the men and together they renamed the shop The Brothers Tassilo and Toschlog, as a private joke.
Alex can hold her own in an argument, and sometimes switches places with her twin so Alice can avoid confrontation.
