00:57 yes boars she has boards even even
01:00 cooler boards are pretty cool so bring

01:05 fight each other

01:08 it's like we were showing off the scene
01:10 a couple weeks ago and we were showing
01:12 off the new design for the wolves and
01:13 the the boars that were just introduced
01:17 to the game and they started fighting
01:19 each other you shouldn't do that well it
01:22 was a bug then I mean yeah there was
01:25 like well I think it was wolves and
01:27 boars together
01:28 oh maybe financial yeah yeah yeah no
01:31 wolves I you know I love wolves once
01:33 again doing I have a wool shirt on today
01:34 we're plaid wears a plaid team and
01:37 normally I know anyway I might mention I
01:41 digress welcome everybody thank you for

01:45 streams release fifty-one went live
01:48 yesterday and we have seen some really
01:50 amazing feedback from you guys we really
01:53 appreciate all of the things that you
01:55 have been exploring with the game up to
01:57 this point the years in development and
01:59 we're one month literally one month away
02:03 from the launch and the excitement is
02:06 building we've got press set is starting
02:08 to talk about it that's going to ramp up
02:10 we've got our event here to celebrate
02:14 the launch coming up
02:16 just before just before South by
02:19 Southwest actually a day before that
02:21 kicks off so will be assault by
02:23 Southwest here in Austin very cool
02:25 convention and we have a booth we're
02:28 gonna be giving away some cool stuff to
02:30 people who visit the booth and some also
02:33 some giveaways that are gonna be
02:35 available for all of you as well so if
02:38 you're not able to attend South by
02:39 Southwest are launched in the event I
02:43 try not to say party I don't know why we
02:45 said we said event and I'm like I'm fine
02:47 so the party with party and a bunch of
02:49 other cool things going on that week as
02:51 well so it's gonna be fun it's gonna be
02:53 a lot of fun in the next several weeks
02:55 we want all of you to join us and we
02:58 want all of you to share the cool things
03:00 that you're developing in the game and
03:03 elsewhere as well there's like there's
03:05 real-life events that kickoff throughout
03:07 the years I know there's going to be
03:08 some this year we've got big conventions
03:11 that are being planned on us out of the
03:12 community we've got a whole bunch of
03:15 other things that are coming up and and
03:17 more so stay tuned guys for that we will
03:19 share all of that here on these
03:21 livestream so we've got DJ Dark Star
03:24 currently DJing the dance party for the
03:27 release every release we have a nice fun
03:29 little light dance party and that is in
03:32 wrists and today on the somebody type it
03:36 in the chat for me please it's the I
03:38 forget the ship that they're on but very
03:40 cool setup a lot of fun and we're gonna
03:44 be doing more of those release dance
03:46 parties those sort of fun things you
03:48 guys want to continue those were to
03:49 continue those this is a community
03:51 driven event after all so we join those
03:54 we have a lot of fun at them as I said
03:56 chaos queen of chaos thank you and dark
04:00 star is now DJing these on a regular
04:02 basis and he's having a lot of fun doing
04:04 it and some really great songs coming
04:06 out of it too so I'm gonna go through
04:09 some news if you don't mind like just
04:11 waiting a little bit for them to show
04:13 them all this cool stuff in cell Minmei
04:15 away we've got no prizes let me let me
04:18 throw out a prize here right away so
04:20 we've got a couple of new things for you
04:22 guys and I'm gonna go back to an old
04:24 thing because fYI everybody stars
04:29 birthday the
04:30 March I think it says March 12th this
04:33 March 12 is darkstar's birthday so we're
04:36 we're gonna well it's not surprise
04:39 obviously but he he's got his birthday
04:43 on the 12th and we've got the telethon
04:44 which is Dark Star themed on the second
04:47 next Friday so we won't have a normal
04:49 community livestream next week it's
04:51 gonna be the telethon and this Dark Star
04:54 theme so we're building up to you know
04:56 celebrating his birthday I don't know if
04:58 there's actually a community event
05:00 alongside his birthday on the 12th or
05:03 near the 12th that'd be really cool I
05:05 think you don't think we'd attend that
05:07 darkstar would attend that like you
05:09 would you yeah there was something I've
05:10 been a bit anyway so let's give away
05:13 some Dark Star stuff we've got the dark
05:16 star shield two of those to give away
05:19 and then a couple of new items since
05:21 there's some new stuff in store new
05:23 release we've got the choice of
05:25 shopkeeper pattern packs well there's
05:27 several of those and the oh this is for
05:31 Twitter now so we've been doing a
05:33 regular Twitter prizes if you're on
05:35 Twitter hashtag lb sotl are very shortly
05:39 avatar or you can add shredded avatar
05:42 and just say something about the release
05:45 what you've been exploring in the game
05:47 if you're a new player that you just
05:49 joined us and anything about the

06:29 it's very cool tower so we're gonna give

06:41 it's not a hundred or two hundred tweets
06:43 or anything crazy like that so whoever

06:55 the trophy room contest last weekend you
06:58 have until Monday this coming Monday to
07:00 submit your trophy room I know there's
07:01 some trophy rooms from last year that
07:03 have been refurbishing some things
07:05 adding the wolves and the boars and some
07:08 new trophy room so submit those to Bob
07:10 today if you can or this weekend and if
07:13 you submit you want to edit and you know
07:14 tweak it like replace a couple
07:16 screenshots that's totally fine you can
07:18 do any of that you'd like until Monday
07:21 at I don't have the time with me but to
07:25 look up the we we have an exact to the
07:28 minute time when we're gonna close the
07:30 contest and then we're gonna announce
07:31 the winners on the telethon for Friday
07:34 for the r51 post-mortem all right what
07:37 else we've got the this is always a fun
07:40 one

08:27 we've lost it again
08:29 I can't find it I don't know where it
08:31 went but I would go through there yeah
08:33 yeah because I can't find it so anyway

09:27 that's how it's helpful as far as using

09:38 got our fifty QA testing incentive
09:40 winners have been awarded
09:42 thank you QA testers always appreciate
09:44 that and even after launch this is an
09:47 ongoing game this is a game that's going
09:49 to grow and we need always that help so
09:53 we have really appreciate the guys who
09:55 jump on a QA server guys and girls jump
09:58 on the QA server and help us out in the
10:02 release that's coming up for each one
10:06 a bunch of other stuff weekly update is
10:08 already out so go check that on the main
10:11 website you should also have gotten an
10:13 email if you did not get an email for
10:15 the weekly update check your spam folder
10:16 please and if it did go there let me
10:20 know because we've been tweaking our
10:22 MailChimp we use MailChimp very good
10:24 service for sending out all these
10:26 updates to you guys and sometimes once a
10:28 while they don't go through if we make
10:29 like a change to the template or what
10:33 not and if you're not getting these
10:34 weekly updates and the instructions we
10:37 send out an email for the structions on
10:39 every once a month Wednesday so the day
10:41 before long release then we need to know
10:44 about that too because you know we have
10:47 we take some time to put these together
10:49 and if you're not getting it well then
10:50 the ether is grabbing it that's no good
10:54 release 52 next month but all I started
10:57 talking about some of that stuff
11:02 retrial that's always ongoing so getting
11:05 the you know any new players if you're a
11:08 new player or you're not a new player
11:09 yet give us a shout out in chat let us
11:12 know what you're up to and if you have
11:14 any questions about the game I already
11:16 mentioned salt by Southwest and all the
11:18 cool stuff there
11:19 Richard's gonna be there by the way he's
11:20 going to be signing his book or create

11:31 even the the event celebration before it

11:38 we're going to try to have a few live
11:40 streams the internet is a little
11:43 unstable at these sort of events because
11:45 there's just so many people but we do
11:47 have an internet connection we paid
11:49 probably a lot for and we're going to
11:51 try to get some stuff going there so
11:53 that you guys can check it out on a
11:54 regular basis it's going to be the 15th
11:56 through the 17th Thursday Friday and
11:58 Saturday all day each of those days is
12:02 going to be a lot of fun
12:03 so let's give away you'll start with the
12:06 Dark Star shield

12:10 give away a prize here sounds right I
12:12 thought I'd theme it after some of these
12:15 upcoming Earth Day alright so there you

13:48 released 51 we upgraded to the latest
13:51 version of immunity 20 17.3 and oh my
13:55 gosh so much better so much better it's
13:57 great really great

14:04 release 51 and seen the better
14:06 performance you should get in you're
14:08 missing out it's amazing so and the
14:13 dance party was a blast had a lot of fun
14:16 doing the music so much fun thank you
14:20 everyone who was there and if you
14:22 weren't there but you were still able to
14:23 listen thank you thank you thank you was
14:26 so much fun
14:26 alright so release 51 of course is live
14:30 and like I said the performances squirt
14:31 is much better and we got some new
14:34 scenes one of which you're going to look
14:36 at the one that see what's been billed
14:37 in South Bend mayor way if Dan gonna
14:41 join you guys to you and I'm sorry
14:45 yeah because don't you bill yeah yeah
14:52 all right okay and South fetid swamp and
14:56 of course lost bail do you haven't seen
14:59 lost bill super cool I haven't yet
15:02 because I can't find it
15:04 well yeah because it's kind of
15:05 challenging alright and more story
15:09 polish for side quests including the
15:12 final pieces of the virtue armor which
15:14 looks great
15:16 once you get the whole set on it set on
15:19 very little set
15:21 it looks great player bender
15:24 customization so you can finally make it
15:28 so your inner bender doesn't look like
15:31 everybody else's player bender and also
15:34 player vendors finally now animate they
15:37 don't just stand there like statue so
15:41 that's great and skills specialist
15:45 specialization so I know a lot of
15:48 players are super excited by that so you
15:51 can focus on specific skills I was
15:55 speaking of the vendor stuff blaze patch
15:58 fixes the bug where the default ones
16:00 were visible so sorry about that
16:02 that was I was unintended side effects
16:06 to another fix that we did but that's
16:07 fixed now in ways that so let's see
16:13 combat a lot of combat balance changes
16:15 over 20 different fixes and updates to
16:18 combat balance including rage effects on
16:20 the bosses once they get down to a
16:22 certain health they start doing extra
16:24 fun stuff and fun meaning they start
16:29 hitting you and you're doing other stuff
16:30 so really cool and of course done new
16:34 bears that are done bears they're very
16:38 cool
16:38 oh and including oh my god I I've been
16:42 going to the weekly character reviews
16:44 and I've been seeing all of the new
16:47 dances for the creatures for the tagging
16:50 creatures but I kind of you know have
16:52 just been seeing them an abstract and so
16:56 I kind of had forgotten about how
16:58 hilarious they were until the dance
17:01 party but of course everybody brought
17:03 their tame animals at the dance party
17:05 and then all of a sudden there's like a
17:07 dancing bear and a dancing wolf and a
17:09 dancing core p.m. and the dance expired
17:11 all at the dance party dancing with
17:13 everybody and it was oh and the dancing
17:17 boar which of bears no resemblance to
17:22 another fancy famous dancing boar like
17:26 creature in a cartoon though no
17:32 resemblance
17:34 do not sue us new trees new harvestable
17:39 trees that are great and new decorations
17:43 including an elven guard tower that was
17:45 made famous but do we rebuild to you all
17:50 right and there one more time one more
17:52 time oh my god we made so many jokes
17:54 when we were building in they will have
17:57 people not in so we were rebuilding the
18:00 city of you literally every stand-up was
18:04 just everyone in the room had to make a
18:06 joke about I've been working on you
18:08 really did I need a lot of work you know
18:11 and just just and everybody would be
18:13 like oh really
18:15 again we have to go there yes we did
18:19 every time we did have to go there and
18:22 it was funny really funny every time
18:25 super funny wasn't it really funny it
18:28 was funny how bad it was so funny I
18:31 laughed a lot
18:32 alright and let's see Oh new ornate
18:37 black cylinder which player which we
18:41 showed off today at Dan's party it's
18:43 really really cool we actually had to
18:45 tone it down a little bit Bob got a
18:47 little carried away the first person had
18:49 like four of the big cones on it to wear
18:53 like when you would stand behind it you
18:55 really actually couldn't even see
18:56 yourself so it was it was it was really
19:00 but and our 49 telephone items QA
19:04 testing winners so reminder if you get
19:06 on and test one QA
19:09 there's all sorts of extra benefits so
19:11 you get extra cool exclusive prizes that
19:14 you can't get anywhere like inset all
19:16 this insect themed stuff but also you
19:19 get to see stuff before nobody else does
19:22 like I don't know if you guys realize
19:24 this but everybody who played on QA got
19:26 to see lost veil or any you got before
19:29 anybody else did and say good find it
19:31 yeah and also there you know there's
19:35 stuff that's happening for more launch
19:37 you know that the people on QA might see
19:40 before anybody else
19:44 so that really was a really unsubtle hat

19:56 god it's so exciting
19:59 at least 52 so you can help so you can
20:04 help by testing and reporting bugs so if
20:06 you see a bug please please report it to
20:09 me bug forums so a slash bug is your
20:11 friend and please report it in the bud
20:13 form so we can fix it because we like
20:16 fixing bugs I mean I don't know that
20:18 might be an exaggeration but we want to
20:23 fix the bug we don't we may not actually
20:26 like could be process of fixing them but
20:28 we want to know about them so we can fix
20:30 them and we want to fix all of them and
20:33 you know once launch happens start
20:37 inviting all your friends because we are
20:39 making huge progress performance is
20:42 getting better we're fixing tons of
20:44 stuff balance is getting better we're
20:46 getting in all the features that we said
20:48 we would so it's really really happening
20:50 and thank you community you've made all
20:52 this happen
20:53 everything you see in the game well all
20:55 the features that you see you made it
20:58 happen

21:09 the if we can be eligible for the QA

21:17 all you have to do is log in and play on
21:19 QA you know like you don't have to
21:21 really do anything special just by
21:23 getting logging into the QA server and
21:26 testing and reporting bugs on the QA bug
21:31 forum that makes you eligible I mean but
21:34 that's and if you in the weekly update
21:37 there's a link where we talk about the
21:39 QA incentive the people who received the
21:42 QA incentives there's detail there's
21:45 some extra details there but basically
21:47 it's really just go to the QA server
21:49 play on there and report bugs any number
21:52 of bugs it's it's not a it's literally
21:55 just submit one bug
21:57 is we're not doing it based on numbers
21:59 if you submit one bug that puts you in
22:02 the raffle there you go we also have a
22:04 couple people here who are submitting

22:10 questions for next week's telephone
22:13 write Friday is the telethon and we are
22:16 gathering questions now for that event
22:19 so if you have general gameplay

22:53 other people are already asking their
22:54 questions and put yours in there and
22:56 we'll get it all right yeah so our
22:59 telethon is next Friday the release 51
23:03 post-mortem we'll be answering lots of
23:05 questions will be doing deep dives deep
23:07 dives again we're going to again do
23:09 combat because there's always tons of
23:10 stuff to talk about combat will be
23:12 focusing and on managing your XP and you
23:17 know how to work with that and then
23:21 we're also going to be doing a deep dive
23:22 about the physical goods which are
23:23 looking amazing
23:26 oh yeah sorry I get to report one bug
23:29 and plane for four hours so you have to
23:31 log in and play for at least four hours
23:32 thank you
23:34 and also South by Southwest is coming up
23:37 so we have tons of stuns and stuff going
23:40 on that's all included in the weekly
23:41 update they they just gave us our booth
23:45 number we have a great booth location
23:47 and they just added a book signing that
23:50 returns doing and so South by Southwest
23:54 gave me wristbands are cheap they're
23:55 like 40 39 bucks so it's not expensive
23:59 it's not like DC or one of these big
24:00 conferences where it's like you know
24:02 four or five hundred dollars really 39
24:04 bucks and also if you have a pledge
24:08 where the original Kickstarter pledges
24:10 that
24:11 SiC rewards we need you to confirm your

31:18 sort of seedy kind of up above so I
31:21 think something kind of like Venice
31:23 where you have buildings up top and then
31:27 down here this was all filled with water
31:29 so the inspiration because I wanted to
31:31 do a savanna
31:33 I went with the Kalahari Desert that's
31:36 kind of my inspiration and that kind of
31:40 included the idea that there used to be
31:43 water here and then it went away which
31:44 is something that happens in the
31:45 Kalahari a lot right you have these
31:47 floods seasonal seasonal floods that
31:50 fill everything up this used to be more
31:53 permanent really this is some ancient
31:54 structure if you look around here you
31:58 can see that there used to be a lake but
31:59 that Lake line all around that gives you
32:05 an idea of where the water level was but
32:08 it was abandoned a long time ago when
32:09 the lake dried up or mostly China
32:11 there's still a little bit left and the
32:13 satyrs have kind of moved in since
32:15 because it's a it's a road you know that
32:19 people have to go through so it's a good
32:20 place to set up a bazaar which is
32:22 exactly how they set up his art so they
32:23 set out in the middle of nowhere but
32:25 they can run a good monopoly on whatever
32:27 goods they're selling to people that
32:28 passing through see how many times you
32:34 can make that joke it's gonna be the new
32:35 you yeah actually yeah so looking at
32:52 bazaars the one in Turkey the big one I
32:56 don't know what it's called
32:57 it's the big underground one was a
32:59 inspiration for how to prop that and it
33:03 was instilled on the water and we were
33:05 sitting room that's adjusted

33:12 this location is to help players
