Dragon of Chaos
The Dragon of Chaos is an Avatar tale. Generally, one of the Avatars is the hero, although at least in one instance it combines aspects of a Lord who walked the world before the Fall. This Lord appeared in tales told in diverse and distant cultures in various guises, but many believed he would return to the world after the Fall and bring its final judgment.
The manuscript that combined the Lord and Avatar figures was found in a ruin far to the east of Jaanaford in the Blackblade foothills.
The Tale[edit]
An Avatar, Lord Brinist, fought the Dragon of Chaos. As his sword swept across the sky to deal the final blow to the Dragon. But the dragon was too quick, and dove beneath the arc of the blade. The sword of Brinist, missing its mark, cleaved the moon instead, dragging it across the sky and causing the remains to bleed white blood. The wound it caused in the heavens broke the bones of creation, which fell as sharp blades from the sky and wounded the world. In rage, the Lord turned upon the Dragon of Chaos and...
