Guardians of Midras
The Guardians of Midras were its elite warriors, well trained and disciplined. They wore dark robes over their armor. Their heads were shaved, and they tattooed intricate sigils from the center of their foreheads to the backs of their necks. Their shortswords were engraved with marking similar to their tattoos.
The tattoos supposedly represented miraculous powers bestowed upon each individual guardian by the Priestess of Midras.
When the Obsidian Empire conquered Midras, nearly all of its Guardians were slain.
