Pence delivered for voice,
Rich dance and rejoice,
At lies from the fed cat purred.
Compassion you say? It tempers the truth?
How does this counter the needful uncouth?

Coin'd tonguèd words slurred —
Greed trumps e'en the most adept sleuth.
