Korabar bade me return to Valhold with incredible news - Lord Demig's sacrifice has ended the war with the kobolds! Assuming Valhold accepts the terms Korabar offered - that the humans keep to their lands and the kobolds to theirs - the ruinous conflict that has taken so much from so many is at an end. It remains now only to return to Valhold and see it through. Demig's baton will return me there quickly.
- Completing this quest by speaking to Grannus and saying the word destiny will finish The Path of Courage.
