The State of the Realm is a quarterly update by Richard "Lord British" Garriott, the Shroud of the Avatar developers, and prominent community members, wherein they discuss how the game has been progressing and how it will proceed. This is the venue from which Lord British will award Royal Warrants and induct members into the Order of the New Britannia Empire. The State of the Realm can be watched live from the official website.
