Teleporters

In many scenes teleporters are used to travel from one location to another. Some, like the Lunar Rift, can simply be walked into in order to take effect. Others must be used by double-clicking (or using the "E" key).

Objects used for transportation generally have a color code that indicates their function. Below is a quick reference list of common teleporter colors[1]:

  • Scene-to-Scene Teleporters (covers on wagons, sails on ships, canvas on balloons)
  • Common single-scene teleporters are NATURAL color.
  • Typically any scene without quests or full suite of NPC town services. For example, POTs and PRTs.
  • Common "list teleporters" are BLUE.
  • Typically scenes without quests or full suite of NPC town services. For example, POTs and PRTs.
  • Special single-scene teleporters are RED.
  • Typically, one "special" scene that may support at least one quest or have a full suite of NPC town services. For example, NPC towns and adventure scenes.
  • Special "list teleporters" are ORANGE.
  • Typically, a list of "special" scenes that may support at least one quest or have full suite of NPC town services. For example, NPC towns and adventure scenes.
  • Local Teleporters (rowboats, street signs)
  • Local single-target teleporters are NATURAL color.
  • For example, clicking a rowboat that teleports you to a nearby island.
  • Local "list teleporters" are TEAL.
  • For example, a rowboat with a teal-patterned cloth on the seat or teal street signs.
