This is somewhat based on the old game "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiago?"

Player Experience

• Winston is somewhere in New Britannia.
• Clues are given out every 5 minutes to help reveal Winston's location.
• Entire game lasts no more than 1 hour.
• First person(s) to find Winston win the prize(s).

Prize(s)

Prize(s) vary depending on number of players who find Winston.

• ALL players get a Bulletin Board hand-crafted, hand-written note from Winston.
• One player - a large item (e.g., deco or wearable item from the Store)
• A couple of players - medium items (e.g., Obsidian Potions)
• A lot of players in a big group - (e.g., fireworks)

Winston Preparation

Go to location: Do this at least 15 minutes before announcing the game.

1. Hide location on Friends List: settings/multiplayer - must log off and then log in to clear the location properly.
2. Go to the scene: teleport to zone scroll, walk to scene, or GM Cmd: loadlevel SceneId
3. Go to the location in the scene: walk to location or GM Cmd: teleport X Y Z
4. Stay visible in the scene: do not use skills Moon: Vanish (hide) and Shadowform (move), Subterfuge: Camouflage (hide) and Silent Movement (move), and do not be in GMGhost mode

Give out clues:

1. Prepare list of clues in increasing level of detail.
2. Use universal chat to give out clues.

Variations

• Non-LIVE version could be done with a player vendor containing one item for purchase. The player who first buys, wins. Vendor can be opted out of the POT Vendor listing.
• Non-dev Players can run this event on their own. Winston could reward such players, towns, guilds for running such events for the player community.
