Ardoris/Vermillion Bird

The Ardoris guard serve and protect the entire shogunate, but operate out of Ardoris. They are led by Guard Captain Cugel, who has divided the guard into five corps:
Beliefs[edit]
The Vermillion Bird are perhaps the most strongly influenced by the teachings of Sequanna. They serve High Priestess Khasi directly, and thusly are currently at odds with Shogun Siranto. They try to practice benevolence in all things, showing compassion and decency to others in their interactions. Finn serves as the leader of this corps.

- Jason Gryn - Urges patience and tolerance
- Joan - quiet and observant, lives vicariously through what she hears
- Ker - Was requested by the Oracle. Trying not be partisan.
- Rancent - poor poet and Alia's former boyfriend
- Richard - meek/shy - secret love for Saera
- Tatos - Kindly but a bit simple. Dreams of being a chef
- Willas the Guard - Inspired by Rustic Dragon
