Community talk:Winfield

Curious what everyone thinks: if we should categorize this as an ?RPC? (Role-Played Character) or something along those lines? I doubt "Winfield" will be the only notable persona in game that gains notability... also should we move this to community namespace? Violation (talk) 01:30, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

I think these should definitely be in the Community namespace, but I'm not sure how we want to categorize player characters. My initial thought would be a new "Characters" category, that contains both a new "PCs" category, and the existing NPCs category. That way both PCs and NPCs could be compared directly.

We should look at creating a Infobox for PCs similar to the NPC one, with an additional fields for their User page, Guild affiliation(s), Residence (same as NPC location), etc. --Browncoat Jayson (talk) 15:41, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Alianin made a PC template for people to use so it's clear they're not official portalarium stories/lore and I moved the page to the community namespace. I'd love to see that box! Violation (talk) 22:55, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

I created a first draft of the PC Infobox and added it to Winfield's page. It probably is going to need to have some cleanup, since I'm not sure titles and such should be linked, and it would be nice if the Guild and User links pointed to the correct namespaces (Community and User, respectively) without having to be done manually.
