Heraldry

Heraldry is a system that utilizes specific Eternal Pattern items that can reshaped decoration and equipment items to display a unique blazon design you can use in the game. Heraldry patterns are available on the Crown Shop in game. All Heraldry Patterns are Eternal Patterns that can be used indefinitely.

How to add your Heraldry using the Blazon Builder

If you were not a backer of Shroud of the Avatar, first go to the account page on Shroud of the Avatar website and log into your account. Click the Account Button and then select the Special Rewards tab. At the top of this listing you will see a In-game Blazon Submission: Update Heraldry Blazon listing. Click the Update Heraldry Blazon link. This will load the Update Blazon page. Scroll towards the section titled In-game Blazon. To the right of the image of the current blazon (if any) is a Blazon Builder named button. Click that to access the Blazon Builder. With this builder, you can quickly create a custom Heraldry. You can also save a design of one if you like as well. Using the Blazon Builder will also allow your design to be added to the game much quicker (all the art used with it is all approved art).

Continue to use the Blazon Builder until you come up with a design you like and then save it. Then go back to the Update Blazon page, and you should now see your newly created blazon in the page.

You will then need to purchase a Heraldry Unlock Voucher from the website store. This will allow Catnip Games to process your Heraldry and add it to the game (usually in the next update or patch).

• DO Note: You will need to purchase some Heraldry Items in the crown shop to display your Heraldry, once it is approved and added to the game.

How to add your Heraldry for the Offline mode

Want to see what your blazon would look like in the game? You can test it out in Offline mode! Here's how:

1. While in game use the chat command /datafolder to open the correct file directory

2. Create a new folder named Heraldry (capitalization necessary)

3. Inside the Heraldry folder, move the image you want to be your offline blazon and rename it Heraldry.png (capitalization necessary, png as well to support transparencies)

4. Should now be able to use that blazon on next offline login.

Trivia

To submit your blazon, log into the Shroud of the Avatar website and go to your account page. The heraldry link is under the “Special Rewards” tab. Follow the link for instructions on how to upload your own custom blazon or create a new one with our blazon generator system.
