Onyx is a Crafting resource used for the Alchemy skill to craft various refined gems and jewels. It can be crafted from crystal fragments or occasionally found as loot from creatures and chests and also mined from Onyx Crystals.

• Gems created from Onyx can be socketed to crafted and artifact chest armor, weapons and shields.
• Jewels created from Onyx can be socketed to crafted and artifact rings and necklaces.
• Socketed items using Gems and Jewels created from Onyx can have specific Enchantments added to them related to the elemental properties of Death Magic.
• Gems and Jewels created from Onyx are related to the elemental properties of Death Magic.
