Reagent are several types of ingredients needed to cast spells, enchant items and create scrolls.
Types of Reagents[edit]
| Black Pearl |
Needed for projectile spells. |

| Corpse Wax |
Used during reanimation of things, resurrection, etc. Found on undead things. |
| Garlic |
Used for magical warding. Can be farmed with a hoe or foraged in the wild with a sickle. |
| Mandrake Root |
Source of power for high level spells. |
| Nightshade |
A terrible poison, found in deep shade of forests. Can be foraged with a sickle. |
| Serpent Scale |
Used for defensive spells. Field dressed from reptiles, mainly dragons, using a skinning knife. |
| Spider Silk |
Used to bind things together. Field dressed from Spider bodies using a skinning knife. |
| Sulfurous Ash |
Needed for all flammable things and or that have energetic explosiveness. Often found near fumaroles, can be mined with a pickaxe. |
Trivia[edit]
- All spells will require reagents. They will also be used as ingredients for Alchemy and in some cases Cooking (example: Garlic). [1]
- Spells in Ultima have used reagents since Ultima IV.
