The Ardoris guard serve and protect the entire shogunate, but operate out of Ardoris. They are led by Guard Captain Cugel, who has divided the guard into five corps:

Beliefs[edit]

The Yellow Dragon are easily the most mysterious and contentious corps of guard in Ardoris. They are neutral in political pursuits and have not taken a side as the two ruling parties have separated in their marriage and beliefs. They are dedicated to wisdom. They believe that you cannot serve any of the other virtues well if you don't truly understand a situation and all the relevant concepts in play to make the best possible situation. The other corps sometimes look down on the Yellow Dragon for navel gazing. They feel introspection is counter-intuitive for the guard, who should be observing everything around them. Oddly enough, this life-long focus on wisdom has not revealed one true path. Each member of the corps has a different view point on philosophy. Scott leads them, but with a light hand so each is free to pursue their own path.
