The Horse and the Fox

Wandering through the caves in search for food, a Horse found a small pear tree which mysteriously grew out of the rocks next to a pool of murky water.
Seeing that the fruits were still green, there he sat waiting for them to ripen.
Passed there a Fox who was also looking for food, and seeing the tree and the Horse he collapsed groaning, “Oh poor me! I should not have eaten that pear!”.
Thinking that the tree was tainted by the murky water, the Horse snorted and walked away.
Sneered the Fox, and he quickly ate all the unripe pears.
