Monk is the homunculus familiar of Aren Bennis. Aren calls to Monk using an unusual whistle tune; five notes, then three, then three more. Monk can deliver short messages to the Obsidian Cabal, which he uses to alert Evard Dirae to the events transpiring in the army.
Trivia[edit]
- Monk is also the name of a bot on the Shroud of the Avatar IRC chat, which allows users to easily link to wiki articles. Simply note the article name in square brackets to provide a helpful link to the wiki; for example, typing "[[Monk]] is a cool familiar" will cause the bot to link to this article.
- The /sotawiki emote has the same functionality in game!
