No Trade versus Tradeable
Tradeable items (which have white title text) can be placed in the bank and in any container to which you have permission. They can also be freely traded and sold.
No Trade items (which have green title text) can be placed in the bank, but cannot be placed in non-bank containers. Also, No Trade items cannot be traded or sold (unless they are "Packaged for Trade", see below).
No Trade Items[edit]
"No Trade" (also known as Account Bound) is a designation given to items that that have the following characteristics
- Cannot be traded or sold (unless they are "Packaged for Trade", see below).
- Cannot be stored in a non-bank container, such as a chest or bag.
- Can reside in your inventory or in your bank.
- If the No Trade item is a Decoration, it can be placed in/on a Lot, House, Player Dungeon, or Basement that you own. After a No Trade item has been placed as decoration, anyone with proper permissions can move the No Trade item, but only the owner can remove/take the No Trade item.
- If the No Trade item is a Lot Deed, it can also be used to claim a Lot.
No Trade items are often called "Account Bound" items because they must remain associated with the one account that received them (unless they are "Packaged for Trade", see below).
The title text of a No Trade item is shown in green.
For example, the Inventory window shown below shows one Tradeable item (the Small Elven Tent, which has white title text), and the rest are No Trade items (which have green title text).
For No Trade Lot Deeds, the title text is green and they have a "No trade" designation in their name.
Note that items locked in your inventory can also have green title text, but locked items will also show a small padlock on the item's icon.
You can delete a No Trade item from your account by either of the following methods. Both of these methods permanently delete the item, and it cannot be undone.
- Right click the item and choose "Destroy Selected Items.." (note: this cannot be done with a stack of items, it can only be done with individual items).
- Drag and drop the item into a Garbage Bin.
No Trade items can be obtained in several ways, including
- As a quest reward (such as the Lot Deeds awarded by the Episode 1 Main Quests)
- From a Streamer Bundle
Package a "No Trade" Item for Trade[edit]
Some No Trade Items can be Traded for a fee. See Packaging Items for details.
