Map

Compendium of Pain and Suffering is a Tier 7 Adventuring Area.

The Compendium of Pain and Suffering, or Chillblain's Compendium of Pain and Suffering, is a maze that presents progressively more difficult opponents to face in each room. Players can access the dungeon from a magical portal in Braemar.

In each room, a glowing panel will summon monsters for the group to fight. These include stags, wolves, bears, skeleton archers, skeleton guardsmen, and a mage lich.

When a player is killed, rather than simply falling to the floor, they are placed in a clearing before then ankh in the first room. They must make their way into the depths of the dungeon once again.

Trivia

• The Challenge Dungeon: This dungeon is now up and running and it is living up to its name by presenting quite a challenge near the end. It can be accessed in Braemar at the default starting point for new players. This dungeon will give us extremely valuable testing data for improving our AI and the PVE experience. Rumor has it that this dungeon may be the path to Lich Mountain!
