Pacu is a Fishing resource used in the Tanning and Butchery skills.
This fish can only be caught when fishing in either of the 2 Player Owned Towns that have been designated as "Bonus Fishing" Pacu towns for the day. The pacu towns change daily.
The Pacu towns can be identified by the following methods:
- Use a Teleport to Zone Scroll: the Pacu towns will be shown in gold on the list of target locations.
- Talk to a Town Crier in an NPC Town and ask about "Rumors".
Pacu can be caught regardless of which water type has been selected for the town (i.e it can be caught in freshwater, saltwater, or fetid water).
Pacu is used for the creation of Baked Pacu, a very important food that can provide buffs to your fishing skills.

There are currently no NPC merchants that sell Pacu. This item can occasionally be found on Player Vendors.
