Talk:Army of Obsidian Triumph

I'm not sure that the 'Army of Obsidian Triumph' is separate from the Westreach Army. I've read what we have of the novel a few times now, and to me it looks like the authors have used a different term every time they want to refer to the army (Obsidian Army, Army of Westreach, Army of Obsidian Triumph...) I get the feeling they're all one and the same, particularly because the book has a serious problem with internal consistency in its names. --Shadow of Light Dragon (talk) 21:49, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

That's entirely possible; we are creating content from disparate information at the moment. I'm assuming there are at least two armies, the Westreach Army and one that is taking the east (otherwise Westreach is a very odd name). Right now a lot of things will be conjecture and assumptions, until we can get official confirmation. I've sent a bunch of BotA edits to FireLotus, which will apparently be included in the next update, FWIW. Barring official confirmation on things, I suggest we try to limit our assumptions on stuff are unless it's spelled out, or at least use language that suggests we could be wrong (eg. The Obsidian Army and the Westreach army seem to be separate forces which, when combined, form the Army of Obsidian Triumph...) :) --Shadow of Light Dragon (talk) 22:24, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
