About Me[edit]
Ultima[edit]
I started playing Ultima when my parents bought our first home computer, which came with Ultima 6. I became a little obsessed with the series, playing every game multiple times, tracking down all kinds of merchandise, etc. I found the Ultima Dragons on the Internet shortly after playing Serpent Isle, so my Dragon name reflects my favorite character of the game, Commander Isstanar.

When UO came out, I played for more than a year on the Great Lakes. After Second Age was released, I decided that the Britannia reflected in the shards was not the one that I remembered. (Since my retirement, I've returned several times, but never found *my* Britannia...)
I also help run the Digital Lycaeum on the Ultima Codex, which is a repository for fan game assets, news, and more.
Underworld Ascendant[edit]
On the Underworld Ascendant forums, I'm known by my current username, Browncoat Jayson. I'm also one of the administrators over at UnderWiki.
Shroud of the Avatar[edit]
On the Shroud of the Avatar forums, I'm known by my current username, Browncoat Jayson. I pledged to Shroud of the Avatar during its Kickstarter, so I'm an early Royal Founder.
This time around, my brother and son will be joining me in Britannia!
Azure Phoenix Arbalests[edit]
I'm running a carpentry shop in Central Brittany called Azure Phoenix Arbalests. I hope to eventually specialize in crossbows, but will make just about any carpentry item. My vendors, Coop and Gwenth, are references to apprentices at Iolo's Bows in the Ultima series.
Tower of Knowledge[edit]
I also run a library in Elad's Lighthouse known as the Tower of Knowledge, in homage to the monument in the Ultima series. The sign hanging above the entrance reads "Turis - Scientia - Magnopere" in Runic, which is representative of the Latin phrase "The great works of the tower of knowledge".
Arms[edit]
My coat of arms is an Azure Phoenix below stars of blue, yellow and red, on a black field cut with white.
I was given permission by Ember Isolte to use a blue version of her beautiful phoenix! Thanks, Ember! My currently registered arms (using the available symbols) is show to the right.
