Ice Hammer of Jotungrund, Common has a small chance to drop from the barbarians in Jotungrund. You will receive this item as a reward for completing one of the Daily Quests from Wymond in Jotungrund.

By destroying this item using a Carpentry Station and the Salvage Item recipe, you have a chance to obtain the following. If an item states specifically it has a pattern in the item description, the stated pattern will always be obtained:

The Imbued Jewel can be socketed into a non-artifact crafted Ring and Necklace items, with the recipe Recipe: Imbued Jewel Socketed Ring or Amulet. The Imbued Gem can be socketed into a non-artifact crafted Chest Armor, One-handed weapon, Shield and Two-handed weapon items, with the recipes Recipe: Imbued Gem Socketed Chest Armor, Recipe: Imbued Gem Socketed One-Handed and Recipe: Imbued Gem Socketed Two-Handed.

The chance for this item to be yielded from salvaging, depends on the tier type of the item salvaged. Artifact Salvaging Chance to yield an Imbued Gem or Jewel:

Trivia[edit]

The common version of a new artifact known as the Ice Hammer of Jotungrund has a small chance to drop from the barbarians in Jotungrund. Players completing the first iteration and daily version of Hisa’s “signal fire” quest can also receive a common version of this artifact. This upgradeable artifact scales between Common to Epic tiers and offers varying bonuses to Ice Arrow damage. A new imbued gem can be salvaged from all tiers of this artifact at varying chances, which provides an Ice Arrow Damage bonus to items accepting imbued gems. Players can also salvage all tiers of this artifact to receive a pattern which can be applied to other two-handed bludgeon weapons.^[1]
