Ring of the Sun is an Artifact ring that increases Sun Attunement.
Regarding modifications to artifact rings (such as the Ring of the Sun):
- Can be socketted with a non-imbued Jewel. For example, if you socket this ring with a Atenism Jewel (Refined Gemstone), then you will add an additional +5 sun attunement to the ring.
- Can be modified with Enchantment.
- Cannot be socketed with an Imbued Jewel.
- Cannot be Masterworked.
This item has five different tier types:

- Ring of the Sun, Legendary
- Ring of the Sun, Epic

Note: for comparison, a crafted (non-artifact) metal ring will give +5 sun attunement when socketted with a Atenism Jewel (Refined Gemstone) and +12 sun attunement when socketted an Imbued Atenism Jewel.

The Imbued Jewel can be socketed into a non-artifact crafted Ring and Necklace items, with the recipe Recipe: Imbued Jewel Socketed Ring or Amulet.
