Summons a shield of air that grants additional air attunement and also blocks all damage at the cost of great concentration. Air Specialization increase the duration. This spell is considered a shield spell, and only a single shield spell can be active at any given time.
Effect[edit]
- Cooldown: 12 seconds
- 10% Chance to consume reagents
- +100% Fizzle Chance From Equipment
- +2.1 Focus Transfer Ratio for 2 minutes− (Shield of Air level / 150 + dexterity / 750) ratio

+1% duration per Air Magic Mastery %, if Air Magic Specialization is training or maintaining - +0.2 Air Attunement for 2 minutes+0.2 attunement and +1 second per Shield of Air level
+1% duration per Air Magic Mastery %, if Air Magic Specialization is training or maintaining
(effect increases with skill)
- Shield of Air targets its caster only.
- Increasing Shield of Air level raises the focus cost, but lowers the fizzle chance.
- Air Attunement affects the focus transfer duration and air attunement bonus duration.
- Stacking and charging glyphs improve the focus cost, focus transfer ratio and duration, and air attunement bonus and duration.
Limits[edit]
Shield of Air will cancel Death Shield, Immolation, Shield of Crystal, and Shield of Ice, and vice versa. Shield of Air also makes stealth abilities ineffective.
