Air Magic: Electric attacks, speed, and dexterity. In lore and dialogue, this may be referred to as Theurgy.
"Jeremy the mage is the acknowledged master of air magic. He can be found in the Hidden Vale, on the Kingsport docks listening to the whispers of the winds."
Air's Embrace | Increases dexterity. This skill does not stack with Strength of Earth or Enlightenment. Air Specialization adds a small melee and ranged critical hit chance. |
Blink | Instantly move to nearby spot that you could walk to. Air Specialization reduces the chance that Blink will use reagents. |
Chain Lightning | Ranged lightning damage spell that chains with a chance of stun. Both damage and stun chance are increased based on the caster's dexterity. Air Specialization increase the damage bonus granted by dexterity. |
Dash | Increases movement speed. Air Specialization increases the duration. |
Discharge | Small radius low damage area-of-effect with a chance of stun, centered on the caster. Both damage and stun duration are increased slightly based on the caster's dexterity. Air Specialization will increase the chance for stun. |
Gust | Push target back with a chance of stun. Air Specialization with increase the chance for stun. |
Lightning | Ranged lightning damage spell with a chance of stun. Both damage and stun chance are increased based on the caster's dexterity. Lightning has a chance to apply a debuff that will reduce the air resistance of the target. Air Specialization increases the number of times that the air resistance debuff can be applied. |
Lightning Storm | Lightning Storm summons a volatile cloud of highly charged Air which rains down lightning bolts on those caught inside it. Air Specialization increases the duration of the spell. |
Shield of Air | Summons a shield of air that grants additional air attunement and also blocks all damage at the cost of great concentration. Air Specialization increase the duration. This spell is considered a shield spell, and only a single shield spell can be active at any given time. |
Summon Air Elemental | Summons an Air Elemental |
Air Attunement | Increases the power of Air skills and resistance to negative Air effects. Attunement is increased by training active Air skills. |
Air Magic Specialization | Air Magic Specialization is the devotion of one's self to the school of Air Magic. It increases the power of all Air magic while weakening your power and resistance to the opposing school of Earth. In addition to the attunement gain, the Air Specialization skill will impact each spell slightly in some matter. NOTE: Only one Specialization skill may be trained and one additional skill maintained at any given time or two may be set to maintain. Enabling training for a different specialization skill may set a specialization skill currently set to maintain to unlearn. |
Earth Warding | Weakens attunement with the Earth tree while increasing the resistance to the Earth tree. |
Rapid Discharge | Increases stun effects |
Well Grounded | Increases electrical resistance |
